aMORe : The Annual Marian Orchard Regatta

aMORe, or the Annual Marian Orchard Regatta, is a fluvial event at the Balete Bay in on Lake Taal where the community prays the 4 mysteries of the Rosary held last Saturday, October 13, 2018. At the center of aMORe is the Lady of the Most Holy Rosary. This is held to celebrate the month of the Rosary where we want more people, families, patents, children, the young and old to pray the rosary especially in these most challenging times.

aMORe is organized by the Marian Orchard FAITH Foundation Inc (MOFFI) and participated in by students, parents, academic and religious community. aMORe aimed to be a driver of faith tourism here in Batangas and also create awareness about Balete and Taal Lake as a destination. We all know that kids nowadays suffers to depression and needs more connection to other people and most especially to god.

On its first year, aMORe literally had to ride the waves due to a storm but aMORe successfully braved the bad weather. This year, we are blessed with blue skies and calm waters. And because of this, we are able to hold the motorcade of the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary from The Balete Bay Lakeshore to Marian Orchard after the regatta.

Next year, Marian Orchard FAITH Foundation Inc are looking at engaging more people, more groups so we can keep the beautiful practice and tradition of praying the rosary together. We also hope to bring more visitors to Balete, Batangas.

aMORe is supported by the Office of the Governor thru PTCAO, Lima Park Hotel, FAITH Colleges, Fastech Philippines, Diwa Learning Systems Inc, AFreight Philippines, and Amore Lakeland Adventures Inc.
