The Batangas Development Summit 2019 once again convenes public, industries and business leaders on 25 January 2019 at the LIMA Park Hotel, Lima Commercial Estate in Lipa-Malvar, Batangas.
Now on it’s 11th run, the Batangas Development Summit is the only conference of its kind in the province that serves as a venue for people to engage and create a network with decision-makers and executives from the government and business sectors of Batangas.
With the theme “Live, Study, Work Play in Rich Batangas,” the 2019 Summit speakers include Ruth Novales | Vice President of Nestle Philppines; Arch. Antonio V. Turalba Jr., President and CEO of Active Group; Mr. Leo Cortez, Project Manage | Jollibee Group Foundation; Jose Omar L. Mercado | President, MERLO Group of Companies; and Michelle Fabie, Vice President | Prizm Corporation and Antara Corporation.
Key to the Province of Batangas
Batangas Provincial Governor Hermilando Mandanas also awarded the Key to the Province of Batangas to foreign nationals and selected Filipino Leaders with the presence in the Province of Batangas as a symbol of goodwill and appreciation for their support to the growth and development of the province of Batangas.
This year’s awardess are as follows: EPSON Precision Philippines President Mr. Takei Akifumi, Sohbi Kogei Vice President Mr. Toshihiro Matsuura, Littelfuse Inc’s Director of Philippine Corporation Mr. Silva Prasad Reddy, Nestle Lipa’s Factory Manager Mr. Volker Hoeller, ARTNATURE Inc’s President Mr. Hisayuki Kozakoe, Cargill’s Country Director Mr. Juan Jose Gomez, and Solar Philippines’ CEO Mr. Leandro Leviste.
FAITH Colleges President Mr. Saturnino G. Belen and Batangas Governor Mr. Hermilando Mandanas bestowed the award.
The awardess are seleceted from a list of nominees presented by the provincial government’s reputable partners such as the Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines Foundation, Inc. (SEIPI), Batangas Provincial Tourism Council, Batangas Provincial Investors Council, First Philippine Industrial Park (LISP), Science Park of the Philippines, LIMA Technology Center (LTC), among others.
