Batangas Recreational Activity: Kayaking

DESTINATION: Anilao, Mabini and Maricaban Island, Tingloy

For most non-divers, kayaking and other water activities are the next best thing to enjoy Anilao, Mabini, Batangas. Resorts in Anilao offer kayaking at random rates – sometimes it is included in the day tour package, sometimes you have to pay separate rate to rent a kayak for an hour or so.

Aside from the shoreline of Anilao, one can marvel at the beauty of the Maricaban Island which is part of the island municipality of Tingloy. Sepoc Beach Center, Eagle Point Resort’s annex for recreational activities, is situated in Maricaban Island.

Sepoc beach is where you can have best time to go kayaking. If you are adventurous enough, paddle to the nearby beaches to maximize your exploration.

HOW TO COMMUTE TO ANILAO

From Manila to Batangas, ride on a bus bound to Batangas City and get off at the Diversion Road (2.5 – 3.5 hours).

Take a jeepney ride to Mabini and get off at Anilao port (30 minutes).

From Anilao port, take a tricycle ride to your resort (10 – 15 minutes).

From Eagle Point Resort, a motorized boat will take you to the Sepoc Beach Center. Boat ride will take 20 – 30 minutes.

You can also do kayaking in various beach resorts in San Juan, Nasugbu, and Calatagan.
