Early Christmas shopping excites some of us. The nearing of Christmas season can be felt when the calendar says September 1. And with the coming of the -BER months, we just couldn’t help but get excited.
1. Take advantage of mallwide SALE. SM City Lipa had a mallwide sale on the last few days of August. If you had purchased some items for Christmas that early, congratulations! If shopping malls near you would go on a SALE, don’t miss it.
2. This early, you should have a clear list of items you want and you need to purchase – from gifts to personal Christmas items such as new set of clothes for yourself. Make the list ‘achievable’. Don’t include items you think would only make you go over the budget but don’t seem too important. Get those you know you shouldn’t really miss.
3. I know Pinoys are ‘maparaan’ when it comes to shopping. Are Batanguenos kuripot? Nagtitipid lang. 🙂 Buy in bulks. There are gift items which you can buy in bulks especially on bazaars. It’s up to you how you would present them as gifts.
4. When you go shopping, don’t bring your kids with you. Doing this makes you focus on searching for those must-have items. You won’t have to worry about your little ones and their tantrums.
5. Set your budget. And make sure you follow it. Remeber, gives don’t have to be too expensive to be appreciated. There are sooo many ways on how to make you favorite people feel special even with a simple, economical gift.
6. Where to have Christmas shopping here in Batangas? We have the giant names in shopping as SM City Lipa, SM City Batangas, and Robinson’s Place Lipa. In Batangas City you also have Bay Mall then in Tanauan, the newly opened Waltermart. For those who want a more budget-friendly Christmas shopping, Fiesta 168 Hypermart (Fiesta World Mall’s version of Divisoria) is the destination for you.
Ready to shop? Well, a little saving goes a long way. You still have three months to expand your Christmas budget. And if you don’t feel like doing your Christmas shopping now, no problem. Spend wisely, folks. Christmas isn’t always about gifts and new clothes to show off. I bet you know that by now. 🙂 Happy shopping!
