FAITH at 19, highlights Global Awareness Program

Since 2000, First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities (FAITH) continues to abide by its commitment to uplifting the quality of education to a global scale. 

This year, in celebration of their 19th Foundation Anniversary, FAITH is hosting a four-day series of events that highlights a diplomatic event, intra- and inter-school competitions, exhibits, talent shows, and a partners appreciation day, all from September 5 to 8.

Praised by the Department of Foreign Affairs “… for providing platforms for the exchange of information and innovative and creative ideas among students” for featuring ASEAN in 2018, the Home of the Bravehearts will continue hosting the “Country Talk”,  a symposium top-billed by a diplomatic representative which will feature this year’s guest as Minister Counsellor Teguh Wiweko from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia.

Also, hosted by FAITH’s Basic Education Schools is “Country Feature”, an elaborate student-mounted exhibit showcasing the featured country’s culture, history, traditions, and cuisine.

Recently, FAITH Colleges has been accepted to the Passage of ASEAN Association that has granted the institution “Passage to ASEAN” (P2A) that is “driven by the need for regional solidarity and a shared responsibility towards people and society as a whole. P2A was initiated with the principle that higher education should be a leader in the development of society.” Following this, a P2A symposium will be held for the Tertiary Schools students. 

Following, senior high school and college students will open more celebrations with World of Dance competition with guest Idol Philippines first runner-up Lucas Garcia. 

Close to 1,000 junior and senior high school students from 40 public and private schools are also expected to join at FAITH Astra Battle interschool tilt which will host competitions covering math, performing arts, science and technology, languages, history, social science, and e-sports.

Meanwhile, startup and innovation hub Brainsparks PH will conduct a series of Career talks for STEM, ABM, HUMSS, TVL, and Arts and Design to be followed by a Partners Appreciation Day where the Institution’s academic, industry, and government partners for the scholarship, research, and academic endeavors will be recognized. 

The action-packed FAITH Community Mobile Legends Open Tournament will highlight the third day along with other activities then a holy mass, a series of musical performances, and other teacher-related events will close the celebrations.
