Every year since my then only child Marianne Betina Valle-Castillo died of leukemia at the age of 6, my husband Derrick and I have been trying our best to help kids afflicted with leukemia through the Cancer Warriors Batangas. We raised funds through garage sale, gave educational books and toys and Christmas gifts with the help of our friends and families. This year, we are knocking on the generous hearts of everyone who would like to share their blessings despite the crises confronting us.
This year, we are planning to give each kid at the Cancer Warrior Batangas a Christmas package with groceries such as spaghetti noodles, spaghetti sauce, any canned goods, buscuits and candies or any food that you think would make them happy.Wrap them all up in a cellophane and put a tag with your name on it. Each benefactor will have his corresponding beneficiary.
For those who would like to extend help, you may drop off your noche buena packages at Three Kids Lomi House Lipa and Batangas City. This will be upto November 30 only.
The true meaning of Christmas is sharing our blessings to those who really need it. God bless us all.
