The new Batangas Tourism Officers Association (BaToA) had its oath-taking ceremony yesterday at the Batangas Provincial Capitol in Batangas City before Governor Hermilando Mandanas.
The newly elected officers and the towns/ cities they represent are as follows:
President: Elsie Iyas-Sadsad (San Juan) ; Executive Vice-President:Romy Diaz (Padre Garcia) ; Vice-Presidents: District 1: Kristian Angelico L. Rosales (Lian), District 2: Vanessa Mae Castillo (Lobo), District 3: Daniel Darusin (City of Sto. Tomas), District 4: Kier Vincent Real (Ibaan), District 5: Erick Anthony A. Sanohan (Batangas City), District 6: Aylene G. Acorda (Lipa City) ; Secretary: Carol Anne V. Zabarate (Nasugbu) ; Treasurer: Genalyn M. Barba (Talisay) ; Auditor: Francis Gio Reyes (Rosario) ; PROs: Christine Nicole Leyson (San Jose) ; Mary Grace D. Layola (Balayan).
In a Facebook post, San Juan Chief Tourism Officer and newly elected BaToA President Elsie Iyas-Sadsad noted, “This is not just a title but a calling to continue uplifting our beloved province, strengthening our tourism efforts, and working hand in hand with my fellow Tourism Officers, partners, stakeholders, and Provincial Tourism Office.”
