With the theme “ Newbie-ginnings, Innovate, Motivate, Create and Rise-up” Multi-media Arts graduating students of De Lasalle Lipa organized and conducted their annual event, the Multimedia Arts and Design Summit 2019 or the MAD Summit with 200 expected attendees from different schools here in Batangas was held at BR Henry Virgil Gymnasium, De Lasalle Lipa today April 26, 2019.
For today’s summit, invited guests were Nelson Caliguia Jr (an award-winning animator), Jayzar Recinto (Hello Lipa’s chief storyteller), Nikolai Minion (a sound engineer), Love Asis (CGI/3D Animator), Doddie Householder(Social Media Marketing of Balete City- Third-Person Adventure RPG game made by Pinoys), Christopher David (Chief Tech Evangelist | Veer Immersive Technologies), Marion Pasia (Affiliation Assets 2D Artist at Gameloft Philippines) and one of the highlights of this year’s MAD Summit is Mr. Darryl Yap, director and founder Sawakas short films at Vincentiments ( one of the most controversial, presumptuous and most viewed videos on Facebook).

The main goal of the said Summit is to motivate and educate students in the field multi-media arts and related course. Through the inspirational words and works of invited guest speakers, students were able to gain lots of learnings and realizations on the field they are currently pursuing.
There is also an exhibit held on the other side of the venue, that showcases artworks of senior multi-media art students and works of freshmen.
