They say that love can move mountains, sure enough, for this guy, who literally moved mountains for the happiness of the one he loves.
We saw him standing, as if waiting for someone. Amidst the rain, he stood tall and unfazed. As if he is determined to do something. He looked like he is someone waiting for his girlfriend, because this is the favorite meeting place of lovers. We thought his tale would be the same old story of star crossed lovers and what – nots. Technically, Yes, His story is that of lovers but this story is not your typical love story.
When asked what was he doing, standing in the shed while it was raining hard.
He said “My Girlfriend and I, We’ve been together for two years. Hindi alam sa kanila kasi Iglesia siya, ako hindi. Kaya ako nandito ngayon kasi magpapaconvert na ako sa Iglesia, para maging legal na kami sa kanila.”
“You must really love her, for you to do this…”
And his reply was
“Yes, sobra. Mahal na mahal ko siya.”
It only goes to show, that true love just gives, it doesn’t asks why, how or what. It just gives and does whatever it takes to make your loved ones happy. It doesn’t question or judge.Because after all, all is fair with love and war.
