Visit the Calaca, Batangas page for all information on Calaca.
Calaca’s tongue-tale history was completed when a little dark-skinned boy walking around the shore of the town waved his hands to the sea and stopped a huge, raging waves that will soon struck the entire municipality and might leave devastated. That boy, as they believed, was St. Rafael Archangel, the Patron Saint of Calaca, Batangas.
Right now, the people of Calaca, just like every Batangenyos are really religious. They have built numerous, beautiful religious destinations that locals boast to their visitors:
- La Pieta Missionary Foundation
- Salesian Society of St. John Bosco
- St. Raphael Archangel Parish
- Century-old Parish Convent
