Popular for its Black Sand, Lemery is a home of memories and beautiful beaches. Its highly-protected coast line that prohibits mining and enchants people to try mud bathing makes it popular to tourists.
The long span of coastline of Balayan Bay within the territorial jurisdiction of Lemery which is about 6.5 kilometers paved the way for the establishment of the resort inductry in the locality. Most of these resorts are located in Brgy. Nonong Casto. One of the 16 resorts currently in operation, 13 are in the said barangay, two (2) are located in Matingain I while one (1) is located in Sinisian West. All of these are privately-owned. The smallest area for the existing tourism establishments is 150 sq. meters while the biggest has a total land area of 21, 395 sq. meters. Although not yet fully operational, Fantasy World Theme Park is also considered as one of the municipalities tourism establishments. Peak season for beach resorts starts at around last week of March and ends by the second week of June.
