Lake Bounties
The northeast side of Taal Lake is adjacent to 6 barangays of Tanauan. Taal Lake has an area of 26,368 hectares, shoreline of 38 km. with a sanctuary area of 1,289 hectares. Species caught in the lake are tawilis, maliputo, bangus, tilapia, hito, dalag, biya and ayungin. While the shores of Taal Lake is shared by 11 towns and cities, the resources of Taal Lake is accessible to the most aggressive lakeshore settlement.
