Dialino and Ona as Mr. and Ms. BatState U 2010

I just came home from hosting the Mr. and Ms. BatStateU 2010, and here’s what you are waiting for, the result and pageant photos.

Mr. Noel T. Dialino Jr. of College of Engineering Architecture Fine Arts and Computing Sciences (CEAFACS) and Ms. Olein Jaira Sophia V. Ona of College of Accountancy Business Economics and International Hospitality Management (CABEIHM) were crowned as this year’s Mr. and Ms. Batangas State University respectively.

With theme dubbed as “Advocating Quality Borderless Education”, BSU 107th founding anniversary had this search as one of the highlights of the celebration. Twenty four male and female candidates from different colleges and BSU extension campuses competed for 2010 Mr. and Ms. BatState U title.

The following are the official candidates and their respective departments and campuses. Sheenalyn Matibag and Gerome Franco for CAS, Lailanie Jusi Landicho and Kevin Gambia for CIT, Marinette Marcellana and Ronald De Castro for CON, Armiel Bautista and Darriel Dela Cruz for CTE, Gellie Ann Magdalena and Mark Shosson Samarita for GE, Krichelle Ricalde and Anthony Manalo for Balayan-Lobo Campuses, Jenny Magboo and Jonas Hernandez for Lemery Campus, Lisette Reyes and Alex Llanes for Lipa-Rosario-San Juan campuses, Janelle Faye Cadduan and Edsel Gonzales for Malvar, Lianne Ferrol and Paul Mark Als for Nasugbu, Mylene Magboo and Noel Dialino for CEAFACS and Olein Jaira Sophia Ona and Aldrin Jay Ardid for CABEIHM.

Here’s the list of the Mr. and Ms. Batstate U 2010 runners- up:
1st Runners up – Alex Llanes (Lipa) and Janelle Faye Caddauan (Malvar)
2nd Runners up – Aldrin Jay Ardid (CABEIHM) & Lianne Ferrol ((Nasugbu)
3rd Runners up – Jonas Hernandez (Lemery) & Lisette Reyes (Lipa)
4th Runners up – Mark Samarita (GE) &Lailanie Landicho (CIT)

The foundation day celebration also includes several activities like academic, sports and cultural competions participated of course by the entire BSU community.
